Hello proposal season!

I hope you’re having a great start to 2026! For the wedding industry, January is firmly proposal season. And it’s kind of just perfect for Ann Arbor in January. It’s currently sleeting outside, so I’m happily pouring another cup of tea and cozying up to my laptop, brainstorming through beautiful inspiration pics. So I thought I’ll do a little series of thoughts from proposal season over the coming weeks. No one plans wedding flowers very often, so it can be an intimidating experience. I’ll share some thoughts about preparing for a consult, things I think florists wish clients could know going into the process, ways to I try to help get the most impact in every order, budget considerations…. and what else?
