Loved all the color and texture in these seasonal centerpieces for a dinner at the University of Michigan President's House  

It's feeling properly autumn!  I loved creating this burgundy bouquet with accents of peach, orange, coral, and ivory for a wedding this past weekend at University of Michigan's Matthaei Botanic Gardens in Ann Arbor.  It was a lovely mix of autumnal flowers, including dahlias, local zinnias and scabiosa.  Lovely textures and foliage - such a pleasure to make this for  wonderful bride!  

Absolutely loved doing the flowers for Angelina and Eric's wedding this summer with the reception at the lovely University of Michigan League Ballroom in Ann Arbor.  For the bride and bridesmaid bouquet, we used yellow and ivory garden roses paired with lush green foliages and textures, including scabiosa pods and fresh herbs - mint and rosemary.  

For the reception, we expanded the color palate and added in burgundy snapdragons and astrantia, more herbs and textures and fresh lemons!  ANd I love the cake from Jefferson Market and Cakery, decorated with succulents!

So talented Kathy Davies Photography captured these stunning images of Rachel and Anthony's beautiful summer wedding at Misty Farm Events in Ann Arbor.  Rachel and Anthony had a morning ceremony and a brunch reception, which not only meant a fantastic and creative menu (I love brunch food!) but also a really memorable summer setting in the morning light. Rachel and Anthony had such an eye for charming details - I loved their vintage suitcase on the card table, and they provided lovely vintage bottles and vases for the flowers.  A little bit vintage, classic, rustic, and elegant all in one.

It was such a joy working with this thoughtful and creative couple on their flower design - they wanted lovely colors - orange, peach, coral, pink, blue - and seasonal textures, and they really let me run with a wide variety of blooms and the best of the season.

Rachel's bridal bouquet featured orange free spirit roses, orange and yellow poppies, yellow parrot tulips, peach juliet garden roses, blue scabiosa, mint geranium foliage, fresh mint, lady's mantle, and dusty miller.

The centerpieces included coral charm peonies, finesse roses, peach juliet garden roses, white ranunculus, blue nigella, dusty miller, mint geranium foliage and peach parrot tulips.

It is such a treat to share images of Christina and Michael's summer wedding, captured by Melanie Reyes Photography.  I can't say enough great things about Melanie's work, and I can highly recommend her insightful, low-key photography classes in Ann Arbor. Christina and Michael were married at St. Mary's Student Parish and followed with a reception at the Gandy Dancer and some beautiful images on the University of Michigan campus, all on a gorgeous Ann Arbor summer day.

The brides and bridesmaids bouquets featured peach juliet garden roses, blush spray roses, pink romantic antike garden roses, white ranunculus, and textured foliage.  The blush, peach, and white blooms complemented the navy blue wedding party dresses perfectly!  And I always love creating a flower wand for the flower girl!  For the reception centerpieces, we added a little more color with miss piggy and free spirit roses, burgundy astrantia and snapdragons, and queen anne's lace - all arranged naturally, in a garden-style, in a gold glass compote.

A lovely pop of color today!  Orange, coral and peach wedding flowers for a wedding and reception at Grosse Pointe Academy.  The bride and bridesmaids' bouquets featured peach juliet garden roses, orange dahlias, orange and coral zinnias, orange ranunculus, white and peach matthiola, and mint scented geranium foliage - a lovely pop of color to go with navy blue bridesmaids dresses.  The centerpieces for the tented reception featured coral and and orange zinnias, yellow ranunculus, and burgundy snapdragons and astrantia in a classic dark wood box.  The gorgeous zinnias were from our local Seeley Farm - beautiful!

So thrilled to share these images with you of Christine and Matthew's spring wedding at Cottonwood Barn in Saline.  Cottonwood is such a gorgeous venue, and Christine has such an eye for design and thoughtfully planned so many beautiful accents to add warmth and color to barn (I posted a few quick snaps of the reception set-up here).  I loved working with Christine and she loved so many different textures and elements - a fun design to work on!  Her favorite flower is carnations - and I just love that this design allowed me to showcase carnations and use them in an elegant way.  These stunning images are from Lamarand Style Photography - just amazing!  Congratulations Christine and Matthew!  

The brides and bridesmaids' bouquets featured raspberry pink peonies, succulents, peach carnations, peach juliet garden roses, queen anne's lace, and a mix of textured foliages arranged in a gentle, natural look.  Christine's bouquet also featured white clematis and peonies.

Does this flower girl love her job, or what?  Her floral crown features textured foliage and peach and white ranunculus.  And I loved the moss aisle runner - such a great way to bring natural elements indoors!

The table centerpieces featured several different designs, all on moss table runners to add an element of green and nature to the room.  This collection centerpieces featured arrangements in rectangular whitewashed wood boxes, as well as candleholders in mercury glass and white.

I can still smell the garden roses and lavender from this bride's bouquet!  Loved using so many herbs and beautiful foliages for a natural, fragrant, elegant bouquet for this wedding at First Baptist Church Ann Arbor and Ann Arbor City Club Reception.  Thank you so much to Kristine Crawford Photography for these beautiful images, and so nice as always to work with Luna Soiree  Events on this wedding.

Loved creating these soft blush and ivory flowers for Rachel and Brian's sophisticated celebration at the Colony Club in Detroit.   The soft tones looked so elegant with the lush gold and candlelight in the room - it was magical!  Congratulations Rachel and Brian, and thank you so much to Photography by Scarlett for these stunning images - so gorgeous, it was so hard to choose favorites!  For more images of this wedding, check out Scarlett's blog - these guys took amazing photos all over detroit!  

Rachel's bouquet featured beautiful white peonies and accents of pale pink astilbe, and her bridesmaids included pale pink garden roses, peach juliet garden roses, white freesia and pale pink spray roses.

This is one of my favorite corsages of the season so far - petite and elegant, and I love the hint of texture from the pale pink astilbe.
