Connie and David’s wedding was that time in the fall when the dahlias just sing and the vibrant colors against the changing leaves in Michigan are so perfect. Locally grown dahlias, textures, and foliages, and pops of my favorite blue viburnum berries. Kristen and Naag had the most spectacular wedding day at Cornman Farms. It was full of color and personal touches, artful details, and the joyful combining of family traditions and culture. They celebrated with a Hindu wedding ceremony under a beautiful mandap where we went all in with the color and the marigolds from India. And then the couple changed for the American ceremony, with all the colorful details tying the two celebration together. Elements of the mandap moved into the reception tent creating a beautiful sweetheart table focal point in the tent. Congratulations Kristen and Naag; it was a joy being a part of your celebration!

Cornman Farms hosts the most beautiful intimate weddings. It always feels so special to have the whole beautiful grounds to yourself and your friends and family. It is such an amazing and beautiful place, and it shows off whatever the season in Michigan so beautifully. For Lauren and Johnnie, the flowers were a textural palette of lush greens and white blooms. The orchids added throughout were a nod to Lauren’s grandmother - they were her favorite.
