Their floral inspiration was dutch masters paintings, so their arrangements and Chelsea’s bouquet oozed with large blooms in moody dark and contrasting pastel tones. Connie and David’s wedding was that time in the fall when the dahlias just sing and the vibrant colors against the changing leaves in Michigan are so perfect. Locally grown dahlias, textures, and foliages, and pops of my favorite blue viburnum berries. Cornman Farms hosts the most beautiful intimate weddings. It always feels so special to have the whole beautiful grounds to yourself and your friends and family. It is such an amazing and beautiful place, and it shows off whatever the season in Michigan so beautifully. For Lauren and Johnnie, the flowers were a textural palette of lush greens and white blooms. The orchids added throughout were a nod to Lauren’s grandmother - they were her favorite.
